Starks and DOOM together on any track is what backpacker dreams are made of. Add the BADBADNOTGOOD boys into the mix and it becomes a gorgeous thing. ‘Ray Gun’ arrives on BBNG & Ghostface Killah’s new album, Sour Soul, with Frank Dukes doing an incredible job on production. What’s more, the video — directed by Rob Schroeder — deserves its equal share of props. Riffing off blaxploitation and B-movie films, the vid stars Odd Future’s Left Brain as a gnomic character known only as ‘The Mask’. Another track off Sour Soul, ‘Gunshowers’, can be heard over here. This might just be hip hop album of the year, and it’s only January.
