Ahead of the launch of his new book ‘1968: Radical Italian Furniture’, Pierpaolo Ferrari has been interviewed by Vogue Italia. The imagery created by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari’s magazine Toilet Paper has never felt more relevant. This combined with the increasing interest in post-modern and avant-garde Italian furniture is a bit of a perfect storm.
The origin of the project was Dakis Joannou commissioning the duo to photograph his furniture collection which then the duo only saw fit to publish in book form given the strength of the images.
