Copson (né Copson St) relaunches this season with an updated name and fresh new Spring/Summer ’14 collection – drawing upon sultry summer nights in the Mediterranean and classic ’50s Italian style references. ‘San Giacomo’ marks the beginnings of a more refined offering from the Copson designers, fusing modern street wear references together with vintage silhouettes in a cool, nonchalant manner. Case in point, classic tonal board shorts presented with a pleated front, and the collection stand out, the Barbarossa jacket; a vintage coach-style piece featuring an all-over photo print of a Calabrian sunset. I’m a fan of the pastels myself. Stay tuned for much more goodness from Copson this year.
