Dazed Digital follow Bill Meier, a 50-year-old pizza delivery biker from New York, as director Michael Nichols joins the bearded courier on his rides from Upper West Side down to Bushwick delivering Best Pizza. Originally part of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Bill was a promising artist – yet it didn’t all work out the way other people might have seen it. He spent the next three decades working as a bike messenger in San Francisco and New York. And although he is still homeless, works day and night for little money, and it took him twenty years to realise: he can’t go around the fact that biking is simply what he enjoys most.
