Now if you’re in the creative side of the fashion industry you no doubt spend half your time ‘moodboarding’ (another name for Pinteresting voraciously). At a best guestimate around 30% of these pins are probably images that Bruce Weber has shot. His influence is extremely strong – be it from Abercrombie & Fitch to Versace to Ralphy.
Bruce has got a new exhibition on in Detroit based around photos he’s compiled of the city. There’s an accompanying book too titled ‘Detroit has been Good to Me’. Showcasing the city’s journey from rags to riches and back again – it’s an homage to Motor City’s people and culture.
