‘Knost Split’ by Jack Coleman

San Fran/Venice Beach surf store, Mollusk, has transcended its identity as a clothing and board boutique in the years since its foundation in ’05, becoming more of a cultural institution to surfers and those with an interest in wave culture. As well as offering an incredible selection of boards and classic beach wear, they also serve as a gallery and platform for film, photography and music by local and international artists. The store’s latest mini-production is Knost Split, a short film by surf photographer Jack Coleman. Coleman captures Californian surfer/shaper Alex Knost in a split-screen joint that finds him messing around in both fields. The soundtrack is ‘Leslie Love’ by ’60s Italian group I Marc 4.
