I’ve been spending a fair amount of time on BBC Radio at the moment, with most of that divided between Radio 4 and 6. This old nugget I’ve rediscovered is a profile of Serge Gainbourg by none other than Malcolm Mclaren. I don’t think there’s anything especially exciting in here for the dedicated Gainsbourg follower but it’s rather nice to hear Malcolm retrace Serge’s path in his cheery tone. Listening to this I’ve rather developed an urge to splash out on a new pair of Repettos but can’t seem to find anywhere that does gents pairs in the UK.
