This project by Maciek Pozoga and Christopher Kirkley is a cool exercise in imagination. It’s a folklorish combination of exhibition, book and vinyl release that documents the fictional city of ‘Bamako’, which is an amalgamation of different places in Mali. I dig the concept a lot and Bamako looks like it’d be a cool place to visit if it was real.
