Manhattan Portage isn’t a brand I’m normally clamouring after. I’ve always known their product to be hard wearing and functional, but never particularly stylish. This lookbook from the Japanese side of the company confronts those preconceptions a little with some great styling. I’ve got no doubt that the Japanese obsession with quality and detail is also present here. I wonder whether the Western arm of the company will be able to learn from this at all.
