I love watching videos of street photographers at work. Watching the variety of ways that they adapt to their environment is endlessly interesting. This short clip of Mark Cohen is rather nice. The flash and wide angle method is something he shares in common with the likes of Bruce Gilden but rather than eliciting the outrage of strangers Cohen seems to be able to lithely slip away without too much undue attention. The resulting photos are of course spectacular – if you haven’t had a chance to yet it’s worth picking up a copy of Cohen’s Bare Knees as its full of great images.
