This is a top Monday morning listen – documentary from back in 1996 that covered the earlier ‘Balearic’ scene. I think 1996 might have been just the perfect distance from the original scene to remember it properly. There’s some great interviews along the way – especially when they’re banging on about people playing unusual music – especially talking about how Alfredo DJs. Hip-hop to Nancy Sinatra sounds like a great shout.
