House/techno producer Replica has just released ‘IV’, the first single from a four-track EP, titled Shelter, on new London-based music label Hallowed Ground. Here, thumping kick succumbs to cloudy gospel samples, becoming an engrossing, trippy piece of house music. The Shelter EP is somewhat conceptual, taking inspiration from Gareth McConnell’s Close Your Eyes series, where the photographer captures Ibiza revellers the morning after hedonistic nights, with a typically psychedelic Balearic lens.
