Pontus Alv is one of skateboarding’s classic weirdos. From his days on Mad Circle to currently being the hot shit with Polar – he’s always had a trick up his sleeve. In Search of the Miraculous came out just at the time there was a new nascent skate consciousness emerging. Staying in Europe (Barcelona aside) wasn’t yet a viable career option for those seeking the riches of the skate world. This film really helped to establish the dynamism of European skateboarding alongside the films of Blueprint and Cliché. Anyway Polar have just upped the entire thing to their website – Scott Bourne’s tattooed arms and all.
