The latest tome from Stephen Gill arrives under the title, Best Before End. The photographs within underwent a pretty peculiar development process in that they were soaked in energy drinks alongside the usual lab products. (If you wanted any further proof to the gut-rot in those 250ml cans, here it is). Luckily, the drinks work a sort of magic on the finished prints, altering the photographs in strange and fascinating ways. The shots were taken around Hackney, and play with themes which criticise Western society and its increasing demands. Published by the always-on-point Nobody Books, you can find it online now.
