Brooklyn’s RVNG Intl has released its latest multi-collaborative FRKWYS project, featuring hypnotic music by cult musician and composer Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe and Ariel Kalma, created on location in Australia’s spiritual hub, Mullumbimby. Rather than opting for a traditional AV accompaniment to the immersive soundscapes created, Misha Hollenbach and Johann Rashid have reinterpreted the music into a free form documentary, inspired by the record’s processes and natural environments. Titled Sunshine Soup, it’s suitably psychedelic. There’s an interview with the filmmakers over on NOWNESS.
