Ned Doheny was kicking around LA writing great songs at the same time as the likes of Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, The Eagles and many other names who reached more mainstream success. We’d have to say that this is a bit unfair, not that he seems to mind all that much. Anyway since his early days in LA his music has been adopted by the Balearic scene or as Test Pressing put it the ‘disco-but-not-disco’ scene.
