The Happy Reader genuinely makes me very happy. It’s a bit of a bibliophiles dream. Not only is it a literary object in its own right, but it’s a literary object that is all about books! The first half of this issue is all about Grimes and her favourite books. She looks mad cute on the cover. Then the second half examines Zola’s Au Bonheur Des Dames. And it’s just £3 an issue. Or £8 for an annual subscription.
What else can I say. It sounds and looks like a treat!
