There’s no ignoring the impact UNDERCOVER has had on the Japanese (and global) fashion landscape since launching in 1990. Jun Takahashi’s punk inspiration began as a series of DIY t-shirts – the essential item forming the crux of a new exhibition at Shibuya’s Parco museum this month. TGraphics takes a retrospective look at 300 UNDERCOVER tees released between 1990-2014, showcasing the evolution of the brand’s graphic identity on printed cotton masterpieces, cult classics and vintage bits. A series of 300 special edition reprints are available exclusively at Parco. More info here.
