We’re quite taken by the new range of eyewear from fledgling NZ label, Lewis Fredericks. The brand puts its stamp down through its dedication to working exclusively with horn — a natural by-product that boasts hypoallergenic, flexible and super strong qualities. Given the animal nature of the material, no two frames are the same. The brand’s first release for 2015 sees five new styles inspired by notable eyewear aficionados of the past century. Modernist architect I.M. Pei, English poet and novelist Philip Larkin, and of course the first lady of fashion, Jackie Kennedy Onassis, are all represented via frames that adopt their names, style cues and personalities.
