Via its digital storefront at UNION LA, Foothills California presents a series of antique and vintage trinkets and clothing from times gone by. The offering of wartime Zippo lighters is particularly interesting, not least because of the histories literally engraved on these classic wick lighters. Above you can see evidence of WWII campaigns in China and Southeast Asia, the three holy mountains of Japan (a Korean War souvenir), and evidence of the 28th Infantry Division (named the ‘Bloody Bucket’ division by the Germans during WWII). Pretty interesting stuff. Like their owners though, these vintage rarities can cost you an arm and a leg.
